Hi, I'm Shelly Wagner! A Graphic & Motion Designer born and raised in the Seattle area. I'm a creative thinker and dog lover who finds joy in creating 2D flat designs and animation that are simple and clean. Minimalist, geometric, and line art styles make my heart sing. I enjoy crafting engaging social media assets, UI animations, iconography, infographics, logo animations, promo videos and explainer videos. Though I thrive in these areas, I'm open to learning and creating in other visual mediums as well.
Above all, I love using my creative skills to help brands effectively communicate their vision through visual storytelling. Crafting graphics, illustrations, and other visual assets that bring a brand's message to life in an impactful, memorable way is incredibly rewarding to me. I feel it's crucial to have a thoughtful design process for each project, taking the time to understand the brand, their goals, and their target audience in order to translate that effectively into visuals. Following key design principles like visual hierarchy, color theory, and effective typography allows me to shape visual content that aligns with the brand's style and resonates with their audience. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating closely with clients throughout the design process to ensure the end result fully captures their unique identity and vision. Bringing brands to life visually and seeing my work connect with real users is the most fulfilling part of being a designer for me.
When I'm not designing, you can find me enjoying the simple pleasures in life. Curling up on the couch with our pup Presley watching a classic 80's film, kickboxing, yoga and walking to stay active, cheering on the Seahawks or Mariners, or riding through the beautiful Pacific Northwest on the back of my husband's motorcycle, stopping at local breweries and cideries along the way. I also love traveling and immersing myself in new cultures and places, catching a sunset on a beach somewhere and people watching café-side with a chai latte in hand. The little moments with loved ones and opportunities to explore are what make me happiest.
